IE8 Shopping campaign

Microsoft wanted to run an online Christmas campaign targeting ‘secure online shopping’ to promote the core benefits of Windows Internet Explorer 8. The campaign was to be rolled out across Europe and various other countries.
Targeting various IE browser users, we created 6 sets of banner ads and emails with a shopping theme. The ads and emails were styled in two types; one a Christmas theme with snow and holly, the other a shopping list. Both had a trolley that would race across the ad and collect the three main IE8 reasons that it can help you shop securely online: web slices that keep you updated, accelerators that navigate to another online service at a click of a button, and security to keep your browsing safe.
We then had to localise these sets to the 30 markets which were promoting the campaign. By the end of this project, some of our designers were fluent in a many languages!
